Privacy Policy
Guessit.io (“the site”) is a free collection of guessing games run by an independent developer, TheAtilaDev. This page explains what information is processed when you visit the site, who processes it, and what choices you have. In short: the site has no accounts and does not ask for your name or email, but some third-party services used on the site (advertising, video and images) can set cookies or receive technical data from your browser.
Information the site collects
The games run entirely in your browser. Your guesses and scores are kept in memory only while the page is open and are not sent to any server or stored after you leave. There is no sign-up, login, comment form or newsletter.
Like any website, the hosting provider that serves the pages may automatically record standard technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used only to keep the site running and secure.
If you contact me by email or Discord, I receive whatever you choose to send, such as your address or username and your message. I use it only to reply to you and do not share it.
Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)
The site uses Google AdSense to show ads, which helps keep the games free. Please note:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info or, in Europe, www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Other third-party services
- YouTube (Guess The Words): music videos are embedded with the YouTube player. When a video loads, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and receive your IP address. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Wikipedia / Wikimedia (Guess The Weight and Guess The Distance): pictures are loaded from Wikipedia's servers, so the Wikimedia Foundation receives your IP address and browser information when an image loads. See the Wikimedia Privacy Policy.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. The games still work without cookies, although ads may become less relevant to you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to object to or restrict its processing. Since the site itself stores no personal data beyond emails you send me, most requests about advertising data should go to Google using the links above. For anything else, contact me and I will help.
Children
The games are suitable for all ages, but the site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
